WHAT IT WAS
Four weeks to a storefront, built to a broadcast deadline.
Meg Ferguson was a sustainable fashion designer about to appear on Project Runway. She had four weeks before the episode aired and no way to sell her clothes online. We built a full e-commerce store from zero in time for the broadcast.
The store was built around Meg's actual production model — sustainable, small-batch, made-to-order — so the purchasing flow reflected how the business actually worked rather than a generic e-commerce template. Mobile-first, brand-native, ready for national traffic on a fixed date.
THE STRATEGY
Two moves: capture, then convert.
With a hard TV air-date as the deadline, we staged the build in two moves: a landing page first — capturing email signups while the episode approached — then a full Shopify store that swapped in live on launch day.
The Project Runway association made the deadline non-negotiable. We hit it.
THE BUILD SEQUENCE
- Week 1: Landing page live — email capture, brand voice, waitlist built before the store existed.
- Weeks 2–3: Shopify store built — collection management, made-to-order product pages, mobile-first checkout.
- Week 4: Launch — store swap on air-date, email activation for the waitlist.
The week-by-week plan was built against a fixed broadcast air-date — no slack in the schedule to fall back on.

THE SHAPE OF THE WORK
Zero to store in four weeks, on a broadcast deadline.
Atelier Co. was a clean execution build: a landing page to capture the audience before the store existed, then a full Shopify store that reflected the actual production model — sustainable, small-batch, made-to-order. The craft was the staging and the deadline. We hit it.

Book the Architecture Sprint
A fixed deadline is unforgiving — you ship the right thing, built right, or you miss the date. The Sprint is how we figure out what that one right thing is for you, before anyone spends a dollar building it.
