Editorial Pack

Add-on

Editorial layout: spreads, sections, data hero, compare columns, metric strips, panels.

Compare Columns

compareColumns
Add-onWabbit

Two labeled side-by-side columns for "A vs B" comparisons; the positive column receives an accent treatment.

Traditional Agency

  • Fixed project scope with expensive change orders
  • Handoff culture — design throws over the wall to dev
  • Months of discovery before a pixel is produced
  • Single platform dependency baked into every contract
  • Retainer ends, institutional knowledge walks out the door

Wabbit Editorial Studio

  • Modular platform — scope expands cleanly as needs grow
  • One team owns strategy, design, and engineering end-to-end
  • Shipped drafts in days, not months
  • Open-standard stack you own outright
  • Living relationship — the system improves each sprint

Why Editorial Teams Choose Tome

Tome gives editorial teams a content platform with the structure of a design system and the flexibility of a component library — without the migration tax.

Structured Content by Default

Payload block configs enforce shape at authoring time, so every page is predictable before it reaches the renderer.

Theme Tokens, Not Overrides

Color, type, and spacing live in CSS custom properties. Switching themes is a config swap, not a find-and-replace.

Deploy Anywhere

Tome targets Next.js App Router by default and exports clean ESM. Any host that runs Node 20 can run a Tome site.

How It Works

Getting started with Tome takes three steps — and each one is designed to stay out of your way.

1. Define Your Stack

Choose the Tome layers your project needs. Core, blocks, org, LMS — install only what you ship.

2. Configure Your Blocks

Every block exposes a typed Payload field config. Rename slugs, set defaults, and wire theme tokens in one place.

3. Publish and Iterate

Deploy to any Next.js host. Changesets track versions per package so consumer sites upgrade on their own schedule.

OUR MISSION

We believe the best editorial experiences are built from the ground up not patched together from a dozen disconnected services. Tome is the platform we wish had existed when we started.

A NOTE FROM THE STUDIO

Every platform we build is an argument. An argument that structured content and beautiful design are not at odds. That speed and craft can coexist. That the tools you use shape the work you make.
